CITIZEN VERIZON

Verizon reached out to our team to help them generate awareness around their social good initiatives by creating a new narrative. One that we called Citizen Verizon: our plan for economic, environmental and social advancement. It’s their promise to the community that they are here, they are listening, and they are committed to working toward a greater good. To accompany this new plan, they needed a new design system that echoed that of the Verizon masterbrand but had its own unique feel.

We developed a system in which the Verizon red bar is the focus and connects objets to one another, symbolizing the connection that Verizon brings to people nationwide. Negative space, alignment and large, impactful images are all important pillars of this system. My role was to translate the brand strategy into a powerful visual identity and connect the guidelines to applications across channels such as social, digital, film and more.
